Formally, the Catholic Church still owns the building, and it's one that's difficult to get rid of; It's on church grounds, is listed as having asbestos and lead, and the history of "Sister Margaret's Home for Wayward Girls" being a girl's reformatory (ie, prison) makes the site socially toxic. No serious attempts to buy it have ever happened. Rumors of rapes, whippins and other tortures, forced abortions, slave labor, and suicides surround the building, and unfortunately the rumors are partially true- The original Sister Margret was "a horrible person" and she found like minded individuals to surround herself with until Church officials discovered what was going on and shut the facility down (and tried to cover up the abuses). There never was asbestos nor lead there, but the denizens who now are found there make a point of it to keep the rumors alive. While the bar still serves as a recruiting hall for low-level mercs, the upper decks serve as a meeting place for the various vigilantes; Membership is strictly invitation only, but any member can propose a new member. The vote must be unanimous; Every member must be in agreement to the new member, or they will not be allowed to enter. This is significant because the members all know each other's real names; As such, trust is absolutely integral. The top deck is arranged as both a meeting place and a safe house for members when absolutely necessary. The betting pool in the bar is for regular mercenaries, hired guns, hitmen, or any degenerate going there. It is a dead pool, seeing when these guys will kick the bucket.

The Green Hornet was an outlaw vigilante operating mostly around New York. It's generally accepted that he was a ruthless crime boss in his own right, though his motives did not appear to be a piece of the action; They never took a single piece of inventory, nor apparently took over vanquished enemies territory (evidenced by the fact that such operations either collapsed or were taken over by other rackets which could be proven), and most of the criminals he went after were corrupt public officials. Additionally, Green Hornet studiously avoided causing death whenever possible, even allowing one target to escape to avoid killing her (the destruction of her network was more than sufficient to end her anyways, and in the aftermath far more than enough evidence was developed to justify an arrest warrant). Their car was called the Black Beauty, is armed with a veritable arsenal of technology. Though he sucks at hand-to-band combat, Kato does show Britt how to put someone to sleep with his eye pupil. The original Green Hornet operated through the 1930; Now over 500 years later the Green Hornet still exists, proving the title has been handed down over time. The Green Hornet was noted for using firearms, with some early less than lethal ammunitions, and for basic punching. His successors were noted for more hand to hand fighting. Many observers conclude that while Green Hornet was clearly the leader, Kato was the more intelligent of the pair, based on what can be collected of their conversations in action. It is also clear that the Green Honet deeply respected Kato, alsways referring to him as "partner," never as sidekick, assistant, pupil, apprentice, or any other 'lesser' term, so much so that he was on a few occasions heard to correct others that Kato was nothing less than his partner. His umbrage seems to have been geniune. Kato was obnserved on some occaiosns taking liberties with this, but clearly treated Green Hornet as their leader, and obeyed commands with a fanatical loyalty rarely seen in a criminal partnership. Kato Kato was the Green Hornet's partner. He was notably asian, with most witnesses reporting that he appeared to be Chinese or possibly Korean. While his primary form of combat was a blending of multiple asian martial arts (the style is generally called Kato), he also used green sleeve darts as a ranged attack for situations in which hand-to-hand combat was either impossible or too risky, and for using a variety of martial arts weapons, most of which were used in a fashion intended to avoid death as often as possible. One weakness Kato suffered from is that he never learned how to swim. Nomenclature The Green Hornet is a bit of a odd case, as collectively they are refereed to as "The Green Hornets" in the plural, but the Green Hornet as an individual is referred to as such in the singular, wherein Kato is referred to in the singular. Legacy Though the Green Hornet and Kato would have passed away over 500 years ago, there has been a consistent series of "Green Hornets" since, and generally a Kato. It's believed that a Kato trains to the Leadership (Green Hornet) role, then selects an apprentice whom they refer to as Kato. This matches the pattern used by the Batmen and Jokers, though to date nothing else is known about them- There isn't even a provable photograph of either except a 2029 photo of Kato, who very intentionally position himself where he would be photographed for reasons only known to himself and the Hornet. The significant variation is that several Katos were female, and did not promote to Hornet, even though there were a few female Hornets. This has led to a second theory that the Hornets train future Hornets, Katos train future Katos, though nothing can be clearly determined. There was curiously a pair of female Green Hornet who's costume integrated elements of both who used both firearms and marital arts with equal ability. The trend has been towards Katos developing firearms abilities and Green Hornets developing hand to hand abilities, but bot limited; With the advent of stun-based energy weapons both seem to be focused that direction as close to exclusion as circumstances allow. "Black Beauty" The Black Beauty was shown to be capable of outrunning virtually any police vehicle and was also bulletproof. It was apparently a 1937 Lincoln Zephyr that was personally modified by Kato. It used a special fuel that Kato had created, which allowed it to reach speeds over 200-miles-per-hour (322 kph). The fuel made the engine sound like a hornet buzzing. When Kato threw a switch, the buzzing sound cut off, and the engine operated silently, allowing the Hornet to sneak up on a suspect.auty could fire explosive charges from tubes hidden behind retractable panels below the headlights which were said to be rockets with explosive warheads; had a concealed-when-not-in-use, drop-down knock-out gas nozzle in the center of the front grille and the vehicle could launch a small flying video/audio surveillance device (referred to as the scanner) through a small rectangular panel in the middle of the trunk lid. Working "rockets" and "gas nozzles" were incorporated into the trunk lid as well. The TV series employed an audio device from the radio show. In its era, the engines of cheaper cars made a lot of noise; the expensive Pierce-Arrow was reputed to be extremely quiet. So, when the Green Hornet said, "Rig for silent running," the hornet-like buzz on the radio show was turned off and the listener was left to imagine that the car really was silent. On TV, the car sounded like a modern car, but the noise was removed from the soundtrack after this command. The Beauty's regular headlight cluster supposedly could be flipped over to reveal what studio publicity described as "infra-green" headlights. However, the car's headlights were not actually rigged to flip, so the green filters were seen deployed constantly. It was revealed in the related Green Hornet spin-off Gold Key comic book that the green headlights used polarized light which, in combination with the appropriately polarized vision filter (translucent green sun visor-like panels that could be pulled down when needed), could provide almost as much illumination as conventional headlights while being extremely dim-almost invisibly dark-to someone without the filter. In some early episodes in two-shots with both Van Williams and Bruce Lee inside the Black Beauty, as seen through the windshield, Lee's face was tinted green since he was supposedly seen through a "polarized" filter in the form of a large pull-down, transparent green-gray visor; Williams on the other hand was seen in normal light. The tint is not present in close-ups of Lee alone. Since specification of what this lighting was supposed to indicate never actually made it into any finished episode, the effect was unexplained to the audience and soon discontinued. However, most night shots were actually filmed during the daytime by the day for night technique, giving the illusion of night-time as the actual car headlights were not polarized but just had green lenses, which would render the headlights useless for real night-driving. As the series progressed, the process was executed less effectively, reaching the point where the viewer would need context to understand that some scenes were supposed to be taking place at night, as can be observed in screening the episodes in either original network airing or syndication (production) order. He quickly advanced to more significant criminals, with a massive personal war against Jack NAPIER. Nobody knows exactly why they went to war, but it's pretty clear the Batman wasn't a competitor- If he was himself a crime lord he hid it very well. After a few years he was noted to have a assistant wearing a red suit with a yellow cape that he was heard to refer to as "Robin." Years later on, video evidence showed that 'robin' had begun being referred to as Batman, and a new robin had come into the equation, leading to the belief that the Batmen train an apprentice to take over for them. This was confirmed in 1994, when Robin #8 was seen for the first time as the new senior partner with a female apprentice and 2028 when the first female Robin took over as the new Batman with a male Robin. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the selection of apprentices. Jack NAPIER apparently knew who the first Batman was, and thus who all the Batmen since then are however they are refusing to say- In fact, they make a point of it not only to lie, but to make sure everyone knows they're lying. The Batmen are scrupulously AGAINST killing, and against the death penalty no matter the circumstances. From 2003 to 2008 Batman #10 (formerly Robin #8) refused to bring anyone to justice, as the State of new York put Joe CHILL to death. After 2 years of absolute silence, the Batman sent a letter to NYPD explaining he was not comfortable with bringing criminals in if they would be put to death, no matter the nature of their crimes. His letter also explained some other considerations he was no long comfortable with (hunting criminals on his own initiative, etc.) and that he was "reconsidering" his actions. In 2008 he returned to the hunt after a serial rapist escaped justice on a technicality. He found the rapist and delivered the man to the mafia, who 'took care of the problem.' This was the only known example of the Batmen cooperating with known criminals, and allowing a subject to be killed. The Batmen have never intentionally killed anyone- Accidents have happened, but no intentional deaths can ever be attributed to the Batmen. The Order Of The Bats is not sexist; There have been female robins and Batmen, and in a few cases a Batman, Batgirl, and Robin at the same time. There are several cases where the Batman had two apprentices at the same time; In most cases the Batgirl eventually went away (though it's suspected she stayed in the larger body, possibly in an auxiliary role). Batman 41 had a Robin and a Batgirl; As 41 retired, his Robin took over his former role while Batgirl took Robin's role but they didn't change costume colors nor her name. At this point they took on a new female apprentice (Batgirl #44). As a Batgirl Takes over the leadership role she takes the BatMan title. The Batpod The deep pockets of the Order Of The Bats is best exemplified by the wide array of equipment they had; There was a boat that could submerge, car, crawler, helicopter, gyrocopter, motorcycle, plane, glider, and skiboat, Now there's only one craft, generally called the Batpod. What little is known is that it a trimaran boat that can fly and has quadracyle motorcycle style landing gears that appear to have been inspired by either the Dodge Tomahawk or long obsolete GR.1 Harrier series jump jets which allow it to be used like a motorcycle, and has been seen in short extra-atmospheric transits. Observations of the Batpod on water has shown the outrigger pods hold planes that cause the boat to hydrofoil at flank speed (the entire main hull is out of the water), while observations on land show the wings fold up and slide back on land making it a wide motorcycle when the pilot desires (though it's been more often seen to operate as a normal grav pod equipped craft). An auxiliary open air motorcycle/hovercycle type craft has been observed launching from the dorsal side of the Batpod like a bomb or missile on multiple occasions, typically from the right (copilot) side, normally with an apprentice (Robin or Batgirl). REF and GIB engineers have speculated at length on the craft's construction and though there's a lot they don't know it is assumed the outrigger hydrofoils double as landing struts and probably have small wheels installed like the Harrier to allow the craft to be moved around in a hanger somewhere. Exhaustive investigations have revealed that the Tomahawk, while at least a partial inspiration, is not directly related to the Batpod. Since there's no evidence of any financial transaction, Dodge has threatened to "sue the ever living shit" out of the Order if they discover who is involved (a position not helped by the fact that they were investigated as protentional collaborators).

What little is known of their history centers around the founder, Frank CASTLE; He was skilled in hand-to-hand combat and was in great physical condition. He can use any gun and has various torture techniques which he uses to get information. He was known to employ murder, kidnapping, extortion, coercion, threats of violence, and torture in his war on crime. He uses his skills acquired during the war to plan missions in great detail and can turn any situation to his advantage while being able to withstand great pain. Castle also learned field medicine and camouflage techniques for stealthy attacks. He was trained by the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy and Army. CASTLE'S military training has made him skilled with all firearms. CASTLE usually used duel handguns or specially-modified M-16's (including M-203's a custom-built, illegally modified, semi-automatic shotguns) with pin-point accuracy and could fight with a combat knife. He also uses explosives to his advantage and tear gas grenades. Driven by the deaths of his wife and two children, who were killed by the mob when they witnessed a gangland execution in New York City's Central Park, the Punisher wages a one-man war on the mob and all criminals in general by using all manner of conventional war weaponry. His family's killers were the first to be slain. A Viet Nam War veteran, Castle is a master of martial arts, stealth tactics, guerrilla warfare, and a wide variety of weapons. Over time, CASTLE drew to himself (quite against his will) many people who felt as he did; This became the nascent Punisher Army. Sooner rather than later they began buying guns on the black market, but the goals remained the same: Kill drug dealers. The Punishers, as a collective, took over for their leader around 2005, who was getting tired of "his" war. Still he taught them all he knew, drilling it into them until everything became second nature- "Muscle memory" he called it. A curious detail about the Punishers is their attention to detail and use of counter-forensics: So well trained are they that they haven't left a single useful clue in 250 years. They police brass, use unregistered guns (it's believed they may, in fact be manufacturing their own barrels), wear gloves and full-body suits (to contain DNA),The closest thing to a conviction law enforcement has gotten in 4 HUNDRED years ; A curious clue to a possible Punisher attack is the sudden theft of AR-15/M-16 barrels within a week of an attack; This now registers as a red flag, though it's also suspected that those from whom the guns were "stolen" actually handed the barrels over of their own free will- Or are in fact members of the Punishers.uipment General Information

More is known about Deadpool than all others combined; The first Deadpool was Wade WILSON, a Canadian who was dishonorably discharged from the United States Army (despite having been Special Forces) who took to petty crime as an enforcer to make a living. Curiously Deadpool are referred to in the singular; They are referred to as "Deadpool" or "The Deadpool" when referring to more than one at the same time, not " Deadpools." They have been referred to as their number, for example "Deadpool 1" (Wade WILSON), Deadpool #213 (famous for her operation), or just their number, but never as "Deadpools." The Deadpool are part of the GIB, but Sister Margaret's Home is off limits- When the GIS bugged the bar in 2213, Deadpool #213 infiltrated "the yard" and planted an actual explosive device with a boobytrap next to the fusion reactor. As only about 24 people who worked outside "the yard" knew of it's existence at the time this development created quite a stir. To this day nobody knows exactly how she got in, through, or out without detection. Another curious part of Deadpool culture is 'sexual flexibility.' Almost all Deadpool males have been pegged, many are entirely bisexual, all Deadpool females are entirely bisexual. It's thought by some that this is a side effect of the process to create a Deadpool. Somewhere around 2130 Deadpool 1 took over as the manager at Sister Margret's and began the process of turning it into a meeting place for all the vigilantes- Strictly invitation only. It allows them a place to meet and discuss mutual interests (the first meeting being an attempt at building a truce between the Bats and the Punishers, it didn't go well but it did establish a road to cooperation). A few years later he de facto owned the bar, and while still keeping the mercenry business open on the first level he kept the 5th deck reserved as 'his private space,' which is where they meet. The Deadpool have a regenerative healing factor, which not only prevents them from being permanently injured through enhanced cell regeneration throughout his body, but also causes psychosis and mental instability as their neurons are also affected by the accelerated regeneration. It is thought that while their psychosis is a handicap, it is also one of their assets as it makes them extremely unpredictable opponents. They are also experts at distracting his opponents, mostly by not shutting up. The Deadpool have a strong sense of core morality. After being accused of being motivated solely by money with was discover that Deadpool 1 often refused to cash the checks of many of his clients- Especially by elderly clients. After 75 years, Wade and James HEWLETT (Wolverine) raided the Weapon X laboratories. Before destroying the facility, they took everything they needed to build more of themselves. Where this equipment in information is now is known only to the two of them. Deadpool's primary power is an accelerated healing factor, depicted by various writers at differing levels of efficiency. The speed of his healing factor depends on the severity of the wound and Deadpool's mental state. It works most efficiently when he is awake, alert, and in good spirits. Deadpool's accelerated healing factor is strong enough that he has survived complete incineration and decapitation more than once. Although his head normally has to be reunited with his body to heal a decapitation wound, he was able to regrow his head after having it pulverized by the Hulk in the graphic novel Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe. Deadpool's brain cells are similarly affected, with dying neurons being rejuvenated at a super accelerated rate. This allows Deadpool to recover from any head wounds, and it renders him nearly invulnerable to psychic and telepathic powers, although this ability is inconsistent. It has been revealed that at the time his healing ability was given to him, Deadpool suffered from some form of cancer; after the healing factor was given to him, it made his normal cells as well as his cancerous cells unable to die, giving him a heavily scarred appearance beneath his suit. Deadpool's body is highly resistant to most drugs and toxins, due to his accelerated healing factor. For example, it is extremely difficult for him to become intoxicated. He can be affected by certain drugs, such as tranquilizers if he is exposed to a large enough dosage. Unlike Wolverine, Deadpool has some degree of pain insensitivity, often referring to his gore and impalement injuries as being "ticklish." Deadpool is a highly trained assassin and mercenary. He is adept in multiple forms of martial arts, including Savate. Deadpool is an extraordinary athlete, and an expert swordsman and marksman. He is skilled in the use of multiple weapons, including katanas, knives, grenades, and guns. His accelerated healing factor may contribute to his abilities, allowing him to perform the intense exercise for extended periods of time with minimal aches and fatigue. Although in earlier years he was originally portrayed as having superhuman strength, he is no longer depicted as having this ability. Over the years, Deadpool has owned a number of personal holographic disguises, allowing him to go undercover or conceal his appearance. Deadpool is multilingual, with the ability to speak fluently in German, Spanish, ASL, and Japanese, in addition to his native English. Wade got along with everyone fairly equally because he always remembered that as a merc, he does the job the client's way- If they wanted the target alive, he brought them in alive. If they wanted him dead, he died. As Wade's affiliation shifted more and more towards the much lower paying vigilante jobs, he kept that rule- Do the job the clients way. He could always walk away if the situation went badly (after first extracting his client). After 75 years, Wade and James HEWLETT (Wolverine) raided the Weapon X laboratories. Before destroying the facility, they took everything they needed to build more of themselves. Where this equipment in information is now is known only to the two of them. Their child inherited both their powers; Logan had been through the same program as Deadpool (about 20 years earlier), and together they raided the Weapon X laboratory and after stealing whatever they needed to replicate the program burned the place to the ground. Logan then used the process on his child, eventually giving him the same claws he himself had. The Rogue Wolverines have maintained a linage ever since. They use the process on their children as soon as they are old enough to survive (generally around 8 years old). Rogue Wolverines and The Deadpool maintain professionally cordial relations, but they're not really friends. Both factions have the Weapon X technology, and they're openly disinterested in a war with their cousins as they refer to each other.
